FEP Alumni Workshop 2024 Concludes with Strong Regional Vision

Economists from the Western Balkans and Turkey exchange ideas on economic sustainability and regional cooperation

The 2024 Future of Economy Program Alumni Workshop brought together 17 participants from the Western Balkans and Turkey in Podgorica, Montenegro from November 7–10. The event featured in-depth discussions on key regional and global issues such as public finance transparency, climate change adaptation, food security, and the role of communication in the digital economy.

Over the course of four days, alumni engaged in interactive workshops, lectures, and collaborative sessions led by speakers and experts from the region. Special focus was placed on building practical skills in communication and strategic thinking, with participants reflecting on how to apply their learning to real-world policy and development challenges.

The program concluded with a renewed sense of community and shared purpose. Participants emphasized the importance of regional collaboration in advancing economic resilience and fostering democratic values. The Future of Economy Program continues to grow as a platform for impactful dialogue and progressive leadership across Southeast Europe.
