Integration of youth from different communities in the democratic debate culture

They often lack the motivation, but also the capabilities to actively participate in these kinds of debates. This is especially true for youngsters from minority groups.

In order to encourage and enable youngsters to participate in the democratic process and to voice their opinions, we used the format of British parliamentary debates. Through this initiative, young people of different ethnicity groups from the municipality of Lipjan had the possibility to be trained in the basics of British parliamentary debate-techniques.
