Në fillim të dhjetorit 2023, një konferencë mbi Ndikimin e Liberalizimit të Vizave mbi Sfidat dhe Mundësitë për Bizneset në Kosovë u organizua nga Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) në bashkëpunim me Kosovarisch-Deutsche Wirtschaftsvereinigung (KDWV), IOM Kosova dhe Kantar. Fokusi i konferencës ishte mbi efektet e migracionit të rregullt dhe mobilitetit të fuqisë punëtore në ekonominë e Kosovës. Fjalët e hapjes u mbajtën nga Nora Hasani, Drejtoresha Ekzekutive e KDWV-së, Anna Rostocka, Shefja e Misionit në IOM Kosova, dhe Hakan Ejdervik nga Zyra e BE-së në Kosovë.
E udhëhequr nga Egzon Osmanaj, Menaxher Programi në zyrën e FES Kosova, paneli i parë u fokusua në liberalizimin e vizave dhe mobilitetin e fuqisë punëtore. Panelistët përfshinin Visar Berishën nga Kantar Kosova, Vjosa Huruglica-Vranovci nga Advantage Austria Kosovo, Donika Karaxhën nga Sutherland dhe Fisnik Rexhepin nga IOM Kosova të cilët kontribuan me perspektivat dhe prezantimet e tyre.
Paneli i dytë, i moderuar nga Sarah McGregor nga IOM Kosova, trajtoi implikimet ekonomike dhe mobilitetin e fuqisë punëtore në Kosovë. Panelistët, duke përfshirë Rudina Nallbanin nga Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Arion Rizaj, CEO i Kosova Job, Alban Hashanin, Drejtor Ekzekutiv i Institutit Riinvest dhe Ramadan Islamin, Menaxher Projekti në GIZ, u përqendruan në avantazhet dhe disavantazhet e mundshme të migracionit dhe ofruan rekomandime për adaptimin e Kosovës në fazën e hershme të liberalizimit të vizave.
