Event Local Elections Debates and Monitoring 09.10.2025 As part of the preparations for the 2025 Local Elections, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Kosova organized debates and candidate monitoring for the Municipal Assemblies in Gjakova, South Mitrovica, and Ferizaj. The event focused on presenting the candidates and their platforms on key community issues. Candidates from the main political parties discussed education and youth, local economic development, environmental sustainability, as well as gender equality and inclusion. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers, including inquiries collected beforehand from citizens. The debates highlighted the importance of transparency and civic engagement in the electoral process, contributing to informed communities and strengthening local democracy in Kosovo.
