The Corona virus crisis is in a way a mirror held up to each country revealing its strengths and weaknesses as well as its state of democracy. 

Today the third edition in the Democracy and the State of Emergency series is published by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Dialogue Southeast Europe office in Sarajevo.
The reports cover the situation of “Democracy and the State of Emergency” in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia.

As the corona pandemic and responses to it in the region unfold, we will continue to monitor the development.
