Future of Economy Alumni Workshop in Tirana

From 13–16 November, FES Kosova organized the Future of Economy Alumni Workshop in Tirana, bringing together young professionals from across the region for four days of learning, exchange, and project development.

The program began with cultural activities, including guided visits to the House of Leaves Museum and a city tour, offering participants insights into Tirana’s history, community development, and urban transformation.

The workshop sessions focused on key themes shaping today’s economic and social landscape. Participants engaged in discussions on cybersecurity and economic resilience, democratic accountability, and the role of technology and innovation. Expert speakers, including practitioners, academics, and FEP alumni, provided diverse perspectives on challenges and opportunities for sustainable economic development. The program also featured interactive exercises guided by mentors to encourage collaboration and critical thinking.

A full day was dedicated to the Reimagining the Economy Lab, where alumni worked in thematic groups to develop concrete project proposals addressing regional challenges. The workshop concluded with group presentations, reflections, and a forward-looking discussion on strengthening the Future of Economy alumni network. The event highlighted creativity, regional cooperation, and the importance of youth engagement in shaping inclusive and resilient economic futures.
