The Kosovo Sovereign Wealth Fund Launching Conference

On May 7th, 2023 Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in cooperation with the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo organized the launching conference for the Kosovo Sovereign Wealth Fund.

The Kosovo Sovereign Wealth Fund (KSWF) represents one of the largest economic reforms in Kosovo in state asset management. Since 2021, two expert working groups have been involved in the important economic and legislative reform process. The Kosovo Sovereign Wealth Fund will manage state-owned enterprises and financial and non-financial assets in Kosovo.

The launching conference was attended by two expert working groups experts involved in the conception, development, and drafting of the Kosovo Sovereign Fund Law, led by Professor Besnik Pula and KSWF National Coordinator Rrezarta Pllana; SF representatives in Europe, international policy and decision-makers, participants from international and local financial institutions, SOEs directors, think tanks, civil society, and media.
